The city, its promenades and its monuments, Rio Vaqueros (Vaqueros River), Quebrada de Castellanos, Lesser, San Lorenzo, Mercado Artisanal (Artisanal Market) are magnificent places so colorful and beautiful.

In this excursion we’ll visit the most attractive and significant places of Salta City, we’ll go to Convento San Bernardo (San Bernardo convent), Monumento al Gral. Guemes (General Guemes Monument), Villa San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo Village) with their beautiful Quebrada de San Lorenzo full of vegetation, and El Cerro San Bernardo (San Bernardo Hill) We’ll visit the historic center by foot so you can appreciate the Cathedral closely, when you go inside you’ll see the Señor y la Virgen de Milagro images. After that, we’ll go to MAAM (high mountain archeological museum) to watch the Llullaillaco children, America Cultural Center, the Cabildo (town council) which functions as a Historical Museum of the North with exhibitions of sacred art, room dedicated to old traditional families of Salta, and La Plaza 9 de Julio (9 July of square) surrounded by colonial architecture buildings. Then we’ll move on to San Francisco Church with the tower of the highest belfry of South America, San Bernardo Convent, and Monument to Gral. Guemes. From San Bernardo Hill we’ll enjoy the panoramic view of the city. After that, we’ll visit the "Batalla de Salta" Monument (Battle of Salta) - and "20 de Febrero" Park, we’ll go towards the outskirts and visit a summer village called "San Lorenzo", which has a subtropical microclimate and finally we’ll visit the Artisan Market where original crafts are exposed by craftsmen of the entire province.
